Einstein said, "A human being is a part of the whole that we
call
the universe.. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as
something
separated from the rest -- a kind of optical illusion of his
consciousness.
This illusion is a prison for us, restricting us to our personal
desires
and to affection for only the few people nearest us. Our task must be
to
free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to
embrace all living beings and all of nature." Who we are verses who we
think we are; to live or to think we're living. To REACH OUT with faith
from a viewpoint of connectedness within one's conscious mind provides
the opportunity to experience oneself as a part of the whole. Reason
creates
the probability which faith can transform into personal spiritual
experience.
This is to love ourselves; because who we are is not just a name,
family,
income bracket, or a personal belief system. Who we are truly comes
from
God and is more than what we think. We're connected to something that
is
not limited to our belief systems or our subjective perceptions of
reality,
yet we limit our conscious experience of this by our limited acceptance
of infinite possibilities. In our consciousness lives the arena of
perception
and choice. By illuminating the mind -- expanding awareness of who we
are
-- we will transcend what we perceive as our conscious mind for the
recognition
of the mind of the Spirit. |
