I DON'T KNOW MUCH
I'm told there are lessons to learn
throughout this lifes' progression
I should learn all that I can
to improve my own perception
It seems the lessons I learn
are all to carelessly kept
but when I sense my own voice
I know I can accept that
I DON'T KNOW MUCH about life
but I know what I like
I DON'T KNOW MUCH about life
but I know what I like
We've been the victims of fear
a fraud that fools have embraced
to trust is to worry no more
it's time to turn about face
Without a shadow of turning
there lies the innocent child
eyes filled beyond a deception
tempers so evenly mild
I DON'T KNOW MUCH about life
but I know what I like
I DON'T KNOW MUCH about life
but I know what I like
The things which so faithfully taunt us
percieved as a joy by some
disappoinments so hard to withstand
are those which will never come
