RIP Brother Lee..... Lee brought a rare depth, warmth, and musical intelligence to every stage he shared with us. His mastery of the woodwinds, his ear for color, and his generous spirit elevated the Mark Austin Band in ways that will always be remembered.
We miss him deeply. His sound, his presence, and his friendship leave a lasting place in our hearts and in the music.
Stay tuned — a new chapter is coming, and the band will continue with new energy while carrying forward the spirit Lee so freely gave.
Education
Received Bachelor Degree in Music (Classical Performance).
First Prize in Saxophone, First Prize in Chamber Music, and Superior Diploma in Saxophone (the highest award given in the European Conservatory system) from The Royal Conservatory of Music, Brussels, Belgium.
Experience
Played all styles of music — from the Antwerp Opera Orchestra to Reggae with Don Carlos, Rock and R&B with Arthur Conley, The Temptations, Natalie Cole, and a wide range of national, regional, and local artists. David Lee also performed Funk, Jazz, Ethnic, and Eclectic music in infinite varieties.
